Booking Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your reservation at The Broughton. 

We are an independent restaurant and rely on reservations being honoured.

For reservations of 6 or more, we will require credit details to secure the table. These details are securely kept with a third party called Stripe and will only be charged if the cancellation terms are not met. We politely ask for 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or reduction in numbers.

Reservations that fail to give this notice will automatically incur a £20pp fee*. We will contact you a day or two prior to your reservation via email to confirm your booking, we are unable to hold unconfirmed bookings. We politely ask you to contact us if you are running late as we can hold tables for 15 minutes and will release it if we have not been contacted.

**Festive Bookings - For parties of 6 or more booked on our Festive Set Menu we require 24 hours notice, prior to the time of dining of cancellation or reduction in numbers. Reservations that fail to give this notice will automatically incur the full menu cost per head.

We kindly ask that should you need to make any amendments to your reservation that you do so as soon as possible. You can contact our reservations team on 0131 556 6608 and they will be happy to help. Please do make us aware of any special requirements you may have along with any allergies or dietary requirements in your party and we will be happy to accommodate to our best ability.
